Xtreme Shinguards (Fibreglass)
Utilising the same shape as the PRO Shinguards, the shells of this product are made from lightweight and highly protective fibreglass. Normally used as the skeleton material within hockey sticks, fibreglass provides good levels of strength and high levels of energy transfer on impact, but with a degree more flexibility than the highly rigid carbon shinguards.
As per the PRO Shinguards, the removable, washable backing foam is of a medium density to provide further cushioning from impact and has two channels within it to aid airflow, reducing heat retention on the shin.

    Very nicely padded and feel great and well-made. They're a little loose fitting on me but I have quite slim calves. I prefer them to the Adidas ones which are slightly cheaper. Would recommend to anyone willing to buy shin guards in this price bracket!     Very good quality shin pads, but very unforgiving on the flexibility on width, as I now have blisters on the side of my calves. Shin Measurement

The shin length data stated in the guid below are based on measurements taken along the front of the shin bone between a point level with the top of the ankle bone and the end of the smooth part of the shin just below the knee bone. This guide has been compiled as a guide to shinguard sizing, however please note that the data offered is an average and that individual manufacturers and/or models sizing may vary.
