I was pleased with these shin pads but I didn't think they were as high quality due to them not being Gryphon's top of the range model. Firstly, protection is not an issue - strong plastic that really wraps around the leg. I also liked the new feature in most modern shin pads - the removable backing which can be taken off and washed. The one thing that I wasn't too sure about was the buckles, which were sometimes a bit uncomfortable but I think they would be alright when wearing undersocks. All-in-all it has great protection but lacks some ergonomics of the more expensive shinpadssumantlal, walsallWas this review helpful to you?yes no

Shin Measurement

The shin length data stated in the guid below are based on measurements taken along the front of the shin bone between a point level with the top of the ankle bone and the end of the smooth part of the shin just below the knee bone.
