  This has to be one of the best hockey stick / kit bags available. My eldest son spent some time researching kit bags and selected this one for several reasons i It was made by Gryphon, he likes the sticks so it would go along with that ii He'd read other very favourable reviews of the bag iii It had a large capacity and lots of pockets iv He loved the colour he has it in cyan. It has proved an excellent bag which I'd have no hesitation in recommending. It has a large 28 litre capacity, as opposed to the Little Mo 16.5 litre capacity. This is very useful if using it to double up taking school books and other items as well as hockey kit avoiding taking two bags. The main compartment is very roomy so great for clothing. At the back of the bag there is a separate padded and zipped compartment for a laptop. There is a front zipped compartment which comes in useful for storing shin pads gloves etc. At the top there is a zipped compartment for a mouthguard case and a zipped section accessing the hockey stick sleeve can be tricky sometimes but you get used to it, it can also be hidden via a zip at the bottom if not needed. To one side there is a large zipped compartment which is very useful for a large water bottle. Above this is another smaller zipped pocket. On the other side there are two medium zipped compartments, it's really useful to have so many sections so that things can be found easily without having to tip out the whole bag on pitch side! The bag is amazingly padded, with cushioned back panels, and has adjustable sternum and waist straps. All of these make it easy to carry it comfortably. The bottom of the bag has a tough surface to reduce wear, a great idea for astro surfaces. The bag has been through nearly a season of tough wear and despite a bit of dirt in places still looks as new, it's just that good!!helen, colchesterWas this review helpful to you?yes no

  Personally I have found the big mo to be the best hockey bag I have used. It is comfy, practical and light weight. The bag compartments are great for hockey as there is perfect spaces to store your shin pads, gum shield, shoes, water bottle, coaching board and tracksuit. Even though I have packed the bag to the brim, the zips and stitching have held up magnificently. Although there have been some queeries about shoe storage, I have found that shoes are able to clip on via the two straps on the outside. At the beginning of use of the bag I found fitting my stick all the way through the hole slightly troublesome. However a week into using it and the stick slides in smoothly. Everyone uses this bag in my hockey team, proving it is an exceptional bag. I hope this has been of assistance!josh, godalmingWas this review helpful to you?yes no

  This is a great looking bag. It's very spacious and fits all my gear in with room to spare! Even manged to fit an unpacked sleeping bag into it.   All my boys love this. Great to be able to put gum shield, shin pads etc in the separate compartments. Easy for the children to walk to school with this hockey bag and their school bag as well. I bought the first one a few months ago. Unfortunately the stick holder wore through at the seams after a few months. I reinforced it with tape so hope it holds. This was a design fault as it happened to a friend's bag as well. The new ones I have bought look stronger so hopefully this has been rectified.hannah, bristolWas this review helpful to you?yes no
