  These shoes are fantastically light and comfortable, with amazing grip for the astro which provides 100 confidence during a game, despite the changing weather. The colours are bold yet understated. The high moulding offers good protection to the sides of the feet. A particularly great feature of this shoe is the laces pocket, which means that you are not constantly worrying about shoe laces coming undone and tripping over. The shoes take a bit of breaking in, as they are quite stiff from new, but after a couple of training sessions & games, they're becoming much more flexible.   I chose Barrington over other online stores as the website was easy to use and all the information I needed was easy to access. Also, because of the free next-day delivery on the shoes we bought. Finally, because it offered easy returns if necessary. My daughter loves the shoes so need to test out the returns! The delivery arrived next day as promised. I was sceptical based on experience with other companies. It was the end of the delivery day - 7pm, but it did arrive.   Got these in August 2015, took a little while to get used to the grip over the summer, they feel slightly higher up than the old red addidas astros. There is a thickers sole and the astros were gripping the surface a little too well that I ended up falling over a few times. I spend extra on the addidas shoes because of the toe protection, we all know how painful it can be to get a ball to the feet. I love the range of colours and try to find something that matches my kit. I don't like the shoe laces and holes have been designed, there is an annoying metal bar to hoop the laces through and it doesn't feel right which ever way I lace up the shoe. I do like the little pocket in the tongue of the shoe to hide the laces, would have liked the laces to be a little longerkim, rickmansworthWas this review helpful to you?yes no
