I've been playing with Adidas sticks for the last couple of years, I really liked the TX24 but wasn't a massive fan of the DF24. The Carbonbraid is a similar attacking shape to the TX24, the bow is really predictable. The stick is incredibly fast and light in the hands and doesn't feel hollow, especially when you are hitting hard. It's great for skills and feels like you get faster ball speed with this stick, than any other stick I have played with, it's particularly noticeable with reverse hits which feel like they 'ping' off the stick.nick, miltonWas this review helpful to you?yes no

So bought this stick just after Christmas, have then started to train with it and use it more, and all i can say is it is very impressive. When you hit with this stick, if you get anywhere near a solid hit, the ball will absolutely fly off the stick, and you will barely feel a thing. Also, with a lot of sticks i have used over the years, the paintjob or the stick itself will start to flake off almost immediately, this is not the case with the Carbonbraid. Been using it plenty and it still looks like new. If you have any understanding of the game, this stick will only be a benefit to your game.james, stirlingWas this review helpful to you?yes no

I've had the stick for half a season and it is brilliant. It has a great touch and feel to it, and when you hit it right its nothing I've used before, although if you get it wrong it forgiving and doesn't hurt your hands even on the coldest of days. The reverse edge flys and its profile is great for anything from aerials to dribbling, and the stick has barely a scratch even after all of the missed timed tackles I'm make P The only thing is the touch compound does wear off pretty quickly just like it seams to on most sticks.david, favershamWas this review helpful to you?yes no

The worlds first fully braided hockey stick! Precision manufactured with carbon-braiding over soft core, this stick is set to revolutionise hockey stick production.

Made in the Netherlands with carbon braiding technology usually reserved for the aerospace and performance automotive industry, many of us have been waiting for this stick since it's initial launch presentation at the World Cup 2014 in Den Haag.

Talking directly with Adidas development engineers about braiding technology, their research programme and the advantages this stick brings to the player, we know Carbonbraid will offer:

Enhanced hitting - not only through high carbon content and superior stiffness, but also by more rapid return to original state. Carbonbraid embraces the flex and returns the stick to its natural plane quicker than any other stick made yet. 2 years of research and testing shows an average of 7% energy loss when transferred from stick to ball, but with Carbonbraid this loss is reduced to only 3%. More energy is transferred to the ball and the ball moves faster when hit with Carbonbraid - fact.

Enhanced feel - soft core, and carefully selected fibre positioning (delivered consistently and accurately due to the precision manufacturing process) both help give the stick a soft feel more akin to wooden sticks of yesteryear.

Enhanced durability - precision machine manufacturing allows exact fibre alignment even around the head of the stick, along with increased wall thickness which combine to contribute to much greater impact resistance and offer a pure precision engineered product to very low tolerances.

Of course the Carbonbraid still offers great features like touch compound, great balance, light weight, and fantastic shape for 3D skills hitting pushing and flicking.
