    We bought these for our 12 year old son who is about 5"2' and of slim build. They fit very well and clasp his calf. Because he hasn't commented on them I can only presume he doesn't notice them when he play, so job done! Only concern is that the foam has come away slightly from the plastic, but with them being such a close fit I don't perceive this as too much of a problem. The shin length data stated in the guid below are based on measurements taken along the front of the shin bone between a point level with the top of the ankle bone and the end of the smooth part of the shin just below the knee bone.
