WASP Stinger
With a low driving area, slightly dropped shoulders, full edges and a mid to low profile, the Wasp has our traditional pressing which enhances the punchy profile by increasing the core strength. Like the Gem and Strike before it, the Wasp is ideal as a transitional bat between sizes, and is suited to all formats of the game. It is also the most accessible bat in the range, offered in Performance and Select in SH, Stinger grade in SH and Harrow through to Three.

Workshop preparation
The preparation by Salix which takes the bat to the point of knocking in by the owner. Bat Wax and Bat Vax are both individually burnished into the wood for supreme initial protection and a finish to match the bats. This gives the bat a sound foundation for the first season with oiling required before the second seasons usage.

All top coaches agree with suppliers and manufacturers that choosing the correct size bat is vital for the proper technical development of young cricketers. It is important that the bat is not too long and more importantly not too heavy to hinder correct stroke play and good technique.
