  This is an excellent compact bag - perfect for training or if you have limited kit. I bought this to compensate for the fact that I don't have a car and often have to walk or travel by bus; in this regard it works perfectly and is a lot easier than transporting a traditional bag. The bag has a boot pocket at the bottom, a good-sized side pocket, a spacious main compartment and a padded slot for a bat. The bag is larger than I expected, comfortably fitting a pair of pads in, even with the boot compartment full. Therefore it's quite a bit taller than a pair of pads when standing up. There is plenty of room for all essential kit although it can be a bit of a squeeze to get a helmet in. With careful arranging, this can be done comfortably though. On the downside, the opening for the boot pocket is fairly narrow although this actual compartment is large enough and the bag is a little rigid when fully packed to be carried as a rucksack for a long time. On the whole however, I would highly recommended this bag. The bag has a quality feel to it and is serves its purpose brilliantly.
