  Bought this stick for my girlfriend at the hockey launch event and as a goalkeeper am now planning to buy one for myself when i can afford it under the recommendation of Maddie Hinch. Have used my girlfriends for a bit and what astounds me the most is A. how light it is for what is essentially a rather meaty stick and B. how perfectly balanced it is. too many sticks these days are bottom heavy to try and create more power whereas the response has a very even weight distribution that makes it so much easier to control the ball with and as a goalkeeper easier to make tackles in one on ones and aerial saves with. Despite how light it is the stick still feels incredibly strong and durable and has an incredible amount of power in it got the highest speed on the speed gun challenge with this stick at the launch event, also tried the specialist and an osaka stick, this one felt the best overall. compared to other top end sticks this is very well priced as well and is cheaper than most sticks competing with it.frank, hookWas this review helpful to you?yes no

  I changed to the response from the revolution as I have always played with a straighter stick GX7000 and adidas v24 and have an upright playing style. I have never experienced the combination of power and touch that you get from a ritual stick. Slapping and hitting require minimal effort to generate a lot of power. The gradual bow suits my game perfectly, it is definitely a step up from the Grays GX700 I used to play with in terms of power without sacrificing the feel you get from a softer stick.   Brilliant stick, it feels so light and yet strong. Comes fitted with a chamois although not asure tight as I would fit mine got a great feel and control on the ball as well as power.
