I bought this glove to protect a broken finger for the last game of the season. I hate gloves, normally and would have preferred not to have needed one. However, it was perfectly pleasant to wear, ventilation was good, protection was good. It's quite grippy but if you're used to wearing gloves it'll be "normal" grip levels. Fastening is efficient and the towelling on the wrist band is comfortable. We managed to play in 15 degrees and sunshine and torrential rain, water retention wasn't bad and it dried off quickly, which surprised me.
