  I wanted straps that would last long and not break too soon. The OBO straps have been fantastic and would recommend them to any OBO GK. This is the cheapest price you can get them too and most other companies will charge a lot higher.   There's nothing more frustrating than having to trawl through an old kitbag for 'spare' straps when one's on its last leg and leaves your kicker feeling more like a flipper - or worse, let's a 100mph shot underneath. I've had these OBO straps before - I swear by their kickers for the ability to fire the ball quickly into orbit quicker than you can say blast off - and the plastic moulded outer layer of the straps gives two benefits. Firstly, they make them last longer than any other straps I've used which inevitably leaves me realising I'm all out when one does go because I haven't had the need to replace them for season upon season. Even when the layers does crack and begin to wear, there is still plenty of life left in the straps from the inner strap itself. Secondly - and I can speak from painful experience here - they are far superior at application to fabric straps which get stuck and refuse to slide between the kicker's layers of foam. Their rigidity makes them easy to push through like a knife through hot butter whereas you actually do need a knife, some heavy duty gloves, and the patience of a saint to claw more fabric based straps through kickers. The buckle is easy to use and whereas I ahve had issues on past straps, the OBO buckle doesn't - oddly enough - buckle and bend leaving you havign to twist it back round into and through the strap which already has ready-made holes.
