As they come as a pair these are far better and cheaper than most hockey gloves. I have had two pairs lost one and would buy them again. Both have never ripped or come apart. At first I would agree too gripy but this fades straight away and its probably not being used to it. They don't give much cold benefit but by this I mean they give 8/10 rather than the 10/10 most thick gloves give. Perfectly good for the dead of winter. Have bought fancier more expensive ones before, looking at you kookaburra and these last much longer. And you know what if they fell apart right now...for the price still well worth it.james, nottinghamWas this review helpful to you?yes no

All in all a good pair of hockey gloves! I have personally bought 2 pairs of these gloves, I wear them during the winter/rain and they perform well under these conditions ,however there are a few flaws. Note that I play around 5-6 hours of hockey a week so you may get more/less use out of them. Positively these gloves are Nice fitting glove which moulds perfectly to your hand . Great for use in winter and rainy conditions . They block out vibrations considerably and help keep perfect grip on the stick during drag flicks/hits. The left handed glove is very useful of switching between the neutral and reverse position. Perfect for training sessions and matches alike! Can be used in many positions on the pitch from forward to defence and keeper. Negatively these gloves can become very worn after a season, I recommend switching gloves at least once a season. The grip on the gloves starts off extremely grippy and will be a pain to use with certain grips such as my current grays cushion grip , and then later looses grip later in the season due to use. I find that the glove on my right hand is way to grippy for use as it is hard to transition between a neutral and reverse position, this is why I tend not to wear the glove on my right. Overall I recommend you buy this product if you play a lot of hockey in cold and damp conditions and often do hitting / sweeping as this is where they come into their own. A well priced pair of gloves that I and many others get lots of use out of!christopher, altrinchamWas this review helpful to you?yes no

These gloves are good for keeping my hands warm when it is cold or raining. They are also not-slip which helps have a good grip on the hockey stick. It would have been useful to have measurements of gloves on the website to avoid having to contact Barrington to find out which size to order.brenda, south croydonWas this review helpful to you?yes no

Bought for my son, only worn them three times and the sticking is coming apart along the edge of one glove already.... .. Not great !!!! Shame as otherwise a great glove , comfortable to wear and helped reduce stick vibration on shooting.jason, market draytonWas this review helpful to you?yes no
