The newest edition of the GEL-EXCEL33 comes with innovative FLUID AXIS technology that allows a natural motion of the foot. FLUID RIDE technology works in a dual-density midsole and gives you improved cushioning and much better comfort. Across the new 33 range, a wider toebox gives your toes increased freedom of movement for a more natural take-off. The GEL technology in the rearfoot gives you that extra cushioning and reduced ground impact. The seamless upper is made of fully-engineered mesh that gives you a comfortable and glove-like fit.

Fluid Axis - Allows for a more natural motion of the foot by letting the subtalar joint rotate around its axis.
Dual Density Midsole - Softer midsole top layer of SpEVA that creates comfort and cushioning. The bottom midsole layer underneath has a higher density of EVA that gives stability and responsiveness.
AHAR - ASICS High Abrasion Rubber. Placed in critical areas of the outsole for exceptional durability.
