  These were the first Aero thigh protectors I had bought. In use for a junior they provide additional protection for a junior player, a hip guard and a inner thigh guard on the back leg that just a traditional thigh pad wouldn't. The materials used in its construction are high quality with brushed cotton type material against the skin which controls moisture. The pads are easy to fit, as its an all in one its easy for a junior to put on and all the protection falls into the correct position. Protection offered is far superior to anything a young cricketer will face in junior cricket. A small mesh bags would have been nice to be provided to keep the pads safe when packed away, as you get with helmets and gloves.james, saleWas this review helpful to you?yes no

  Works well, my son is comfortable using these. In the past I bought him a cheaper thigh pad that he wouldn't use as too uncomfortable wouldn't stay in place and got in the way of running. Pros/cons. The strippers are relatively expensive compared to alternative thigh pads, but the protection is better, they stay in place better, and they don't rub, so he's comfortable enough to forget he's wearing them.
