I got the item for my son who is 14 and plays for his school team and a sunday club. He was complaining that his previous cantebury hat was not giving him enough protection as on a few occasions the opponents studs went through the holes in the hat. The previous hat was nearly 2 seasons old so was good for the past year or so but as he is playing harder and better teams, he needed to change. He is very happy with the hat. The item is great.
